Usually NA live for 3-5 years however there is strong evidence to suggest that some people’s immune systems are much more aggressive towards NA, in which case they can be killed much more quickly.
T. Trichiura live for 1 – 2 years though there are some reports that suggest they can live for much longer. Again however, intestinal inflammation can lead to whipworm dying off quicker for some hosts.
