To give the best chance of receiving a viable dose, NA larvae should be applied as soon as possible after arriving and, if necessary, stored in the package at room temperature and never be placed in the fridge or left in a hot car or in direct sunlight.
Once packaged and shipped, the symbionts will normally remain viable for only 3 – 4 weeks before beginning to die off.
